It's been a strange week in the Willis household. My husband has been away all week on a photography holiday with friends. It's the first time in 17 years that we've spent a whole week apart. I've decided I don't like it very much. Anyway, he'll be home tonight and house will look like a bomb went off, but I'm sooooo looking forward to him being home.
Anyhoo, onto my card for today. As part of my resolution to try and make cards that aren't just square, today I have made a 4-drawer easel card. Ok, it is still square, but it does have a little more to offer. I was amazed and just how easy this was. I found a tutorial on-line and away I went. I used Core'dinations paper to make the little drawers and base and MME Lost & Found Blush papers. I used little resin roses for the drawer 'knobs'. The image is LOTV Never too old for a hug, coloured with copics and crystal art glitter on the wings and cut out with a Nellie multi-frame and Spellbinder scalloped circle. The flowers, lace and seam binding are all from Wild Orchid. The hat pins are mine. A couple of little Woodware punched butterflies and sentiment and it's all done. Now I just have decide who to give it to and find four very small gifts to put in the drawers!!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
