Show Ur Stash - Stamps

Hi ya

I'm back again with another Show Ur Stash.  This week the girls at Shop At That Craft Place want to see how you store your stamps.

I have several different type of storage for different types of stamps.

This is an overall picture of my stamp storage.

Here's a close-up of my LOTV and other packaged stamps.

This is how I keep track of my digital stamps.  I print out smaller images and put them in business card holders, this way I won't forget what I've got 'cos I can see them all.  I also keep single unmounted stamps in these folders on laminated sheets.

These folders house all my Stamping Bella stamps and also all my Mo Manning stamps.

Wood mounted stamps go on my shelves.  I don't use these as often anymore, but I still like to look at them.

Well, that's how I store mine, why not pop along and join in.  Here's a link:

Hope you're all having a great week so far, take care. xox

Craft Barn Candy

Hello everybods

Hope you're having a good week so far.

The Craft Barn is one of my absolute favourite craft shops, both online and in the actual store.  Every year they host a summer Extravaganza where you can go and see experts demonstrate many, many different techniques, products, mediums and talents.  It's always amazing and very inspirational and I try to go every year.  If you ever happen to be in the area of Lingfield it is definitely worth a visit.

Today I'm here to tell you about their amazing candy

All you have to do to enter this fabulous candy is become a follower (if you're not already) of the Craft Barn blog, place a post on your blog and put a link on their blog post.

Here's the link:

Good luck everyone, enjoy the rest of your week and I'll see you at the weekend.  xox

Pink Titania

Hello peeps

Hope you've all had a great week.  Well, it's been a very anxious and exciting week in the Willis household.  Anxious as waited for Emma's exam results, and excited because YIPPEE she passed all her exams.  She got 2 BTEC Diplomas Level 2 with Distinction, 1A*, 2 Bs and four Cs.  We're very proud and pleased for her.  So off to college she goes in September to start her course to become a Flight Attendant.

Before I show you my card today I have the little matter of my ribbon candy to deal with.  I don't know how to use the random generator thingy, so I wrote everyone's name on pieces of paper, put them all in a pot and gave it to Milo with strict instructions to only pick one.  Needless to say, that didn't work out too well :O), although he did give it a REALLY good go!!

So I asked my beautiful assistant Emma to pick one, and the lucky winner is.......

Kelly Lloyd

Congratulations Kelly.  Please email me at with your snailmail address and I'll get them in the post to you on Tuesday.

Now onto my card.  Today I've used Sugar Nellie's Titania again.  I know I only used her a couple of weeks ago, but she's just soooo beautiful to colour.

She's been coloured with copics and coloursoft pencils.  The papers are from Nitwits Heavenly collection, which I printed on matt photo paper.  I created the border with Memory Box Frosty Border cut out four times and glued to the back of the pink matt.  I glittered the border with stickles and Jones Tones glitter in Scintilante Diamantina, well I wanted it really sparkly.  I used crystal art glitter on her wings.  I may have gone a step too far with the pink hair, what do you think?  Can you have too much pink??

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
  9. (Christmas in August)
A couple more pictures of Milo before I go.

This is Milo getting up close and personal with my slippers!!

I think the smell might have knocked him unconscious!!

Many thanks to everyone for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments, take care.  xox

Helloooooo.  OMGosh, wasn't it horribly hot this weekend.  I admit that I don't really like hot weather, I much prefer the cold.  I like nothing better than snuggling up in front of a roaring fire with a hot chocolate and a good book.  I know, I'm a freak!!  Really, no need to agree so quickly folks :O(

Anyhoo, onto my card.  Today's card is for a friend who isn't too keen on the heavy embellishments, so I've kept this one quite simple.  I've used Sugar Nellie's Angelica.  She's been coloured with copics and coloursoft pencils.  I cut her out using a Spellbinders rectangle and used Tattered Rose DI with the die still in place to colour the edges.  The patterned paper is from Prima's Tea Thyme collection and I've also used some pearlised cardstock.  The lace is from Wild Orchid and the ribbon is from my stash (check out my previous post).  The little flower is from my stash and the leaves were punched from a Martha Steward Branch punch.  The pearl bubbles were done with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Ice White.  The glitter I used is Crystal Art Glitter.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
  4. (Pearls/Bling)
  7. (Anything goes)
  8. (Square Cards)
Thanks so much for stopping by and for the lovely comments you leave, I love reading them. xox

Show Ur Stash - Ribbons

Hi ya, hope you're all having a great week.  My return to work this week hasn't been too bad, still wish I could win the lottery though!!

This week over at Shop at That Craft Place they want to have a peek at how you store your ribbons.

Here's mine...  I use a posh kitchen towel holder to keep all my ribbon and lace in.  The little drawer at the bottom houses lace and seam binding on dolly pegs.

  Scraps go in this box.

Anything even smaller gets made into a bow and goes in my bow box.

Here's a link if you would like to join in:

As a result of a  tidy up to show off my ribbon stash I have discovered that I have a mountain of ribbon and so I am having a very small candy - 30 1m lengths of ribbons, which includes different types of ribbon in varying widths and colours.  There are no rules other than you have to be a follower.  This is a small but very heartfelt thank you for the support and lovely comments from my followers, so there is no need to post this on your blog.  I will pick a winner next weekend.

Thanks for stopping by, be back very shortly with a card.  xox

Christmas in August

Hello, I'm still on holiday this week, but it's flying by so fast.  My daughter and I are driving down to Andover in Hampshire this week to visit my cousins.  We're both looking forward to having some serious girly time.

Anyhoo, onto my card today.  I've used Titania by Sugar Nellie, coloured with copics and coloursoft pencils and she's had buckets of crystal art glitter dumped on her.  I cut the image out using Spellbinders Labels Seventeen and inked around the it using Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky DIs with the die still in place.  The paper is from Nitwits Heavenly collection.  I used a Memory Box Frosty Border die cut out in white glitter card and some Martha Stewart punched snowflakes cut out of clear vellum and dusted with glitter, the jewels in the centre are from my stash as are the little pearls and clear dew drops.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
  5. (Anything Goes)
Before I go I've got another picture of Milo (sorry if you're getting bored of these)...

This is Milo enjoying a bit of Create and Craft

and here he is watching some of the Olympics

That's it from Milo and Me.  Thanks so much for stopping by and thank you so much for leaving a comment, they mean so much. xox

Springtime in Summer

How's everyone doing today?  I've been on holiday all week and must admit to not having done much of anything at all, FABULOUS!!  I've been playing with Milo, he's soooo cute, I can't leave him alone, poor little fella.  I've managed to squeeze in a little colouring and crafting in between playing with Milo.

So here's my card this week.  I coloured this image last week after I'd finished the one I posted last week.  I stuck to the same colours and I'm a little more pleased with how this one turned out.  I've used Saturated Canary's Springtime and coloured her with copics and coloursoft pencils.  The papers are from Basic Grey Green at Heart and Core'dinations CS.  The little butterflies are a Woodware punch.  The ribbon and crystals are from my stash.  The sentiment is from Whimsical Designs, Whimsical Fun Vol. 1.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
  7. (The Great Outdoors)
Before I go here's another picture of Milo, sorry, I'm besotted...

Thanks so much for stopping by today and thank you to everyone who leaves a comment, I really enjoy reading them.  xox

Show us Your Stash

Hi ya

I know, it's me, MIDWEEK!!  Doesn't happen often, but I am on holiday this week.

So, the reason for my midweek post - The lovely girls over at That Craft Place are asking us to show them our pen storage this week...

... and here's mine

My DH Trev made this for me after I saw something similar on Hazel's blog, I asked him to make it  2 x 4 cubbies so that it would fit a particular space on my desk, I wish I'd had it 2 x 5 now, but nevermind.  I've tried several different types of storage and so far this is definitely my favourite.

If you'd like to join in here's a link to the site:

Thanks for stopping by today, see you soon.  xox
