8 sleeps to go...

Hello everyone, hope you're all well.

First of all, thank you all for your lovely comments and birthday wishes last week.  I had a wonderful birthday, apart from the fact that I had to work, but the girls and I did go out for a lovely Italian lunch.  Hubby cooked Lamb Shank for dinner (my favourite) and we had a lovely bottle of wine with it.

OMGosh, I'm sooooo excited.  Only just over a week to go.  The deccies are up, the presents are nearly all bought, just a few left to get.  Are you ready for Santa?  I've got Christmas Eve off, so my daughter and I can do our annual Christmas baking, shop-bought mince pies and cookies just aren't good enough for Santa (so my husband tells me!)

I haven't had any time for crafting over the last week, but I am going to show you my super-quick and easy Christmas cards.  I made twelve of these, six in each colour.  When I say super-quick and easy, I mean it.  They are made up of a Martha Stewart snowflake, a JustRite circular border stamp cut out using a Spellbinders circle die and then a glittery background to match the snowflake, cut out with a Spellbinders scalloped circle die.  Stick it all together and you're done.  Told you it was easy.  I make a couple of sets of these each year for friends, but we do make sure not to send them to the same people!

I've also been messing around with my beads, and have made some little Angels.  I'm probably going to turn these into little key charms to give to friends amongst other little bits that I fill a box with.  I also made this super-cute little snowman one, I really like this one, and may well just keep him.

Anyway that's it from me.  I probably won't be around much now for a couple of weeks, what with family commitments and the BIG DAY itself.

Lots of love, stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas.  xoxo

Christmas Eve

Hello everyone, hope you've all been well.

Christmas is just around the corner.  It's my birthday on Wednesday, which means only 13 sleeps 'til Christmas after that,  Woohoo!  Can't wait, I'm sooooo excited.  Honestly, just a big kid really.

But there is no way I'll be fast asleep like the little boy in this image.  I'll be wide awake, waiting to hear Santa's sleigh bells.

Anyhoo, onto my card today.  I've used LOTV Christmas Eve - Boy.  He's been coloured with copics and a little coloursoft pencil for shading.  I used a spellbinders mega scalloped oval to cut the image out and mounted it on a spellbinders floral oval cut out in a dark burgundy coredinations cardstock.  Not sure where I got the spotty background paper, it was just in my scraps drawer which I matted onto some gold foil paper.  The ribbon is from Berisfords and I added a little Santa charm.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
It's been a few months since Milo last put in an appearance and, as he was being a bit of nuisance this morning playing on my desk and generally getting up to mischief, I thought I'd snap a couple of pictures.  Of course, I never quite catch him in the act on camera, he always looks soooo innocent!

Here he is looking all innocent after attacking the big shot.

This is after he finished attacking stuff on the shelves... see no-one would believe me!

Aha!  Caught in the act.

Obviously it's all been too much, so where does he choose to sleep?!!
No more crafting for me until he gets up!

As the festive season approaches I'm sure more and more of us will have little or no time for crafting and blogging, so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.   xoxo
