Starry Bunny

Hello crafty buddies, hope you're all keeping warm and well in this nasty weather.  Apparently we have more snow forecast for today, lets just hope it isn't very much!!

Today I have a  new baby card to show, made using Starry Bunny from LOTV.  My SIL bought this stamp for me for my birthday back in December and this is the first opportunity I've had to play with it.  He's been coloured with copics and crystal art glitter.  I cut out the image with a round nestie and mounted it on a piece of green/blue card cut out using a scalloped nestie.  I used Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork for the flourishes cut out in the same green/blue card.  The flowers are from Hobby House.  The ribbon and little feet charm are from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Personal Impressions Paula Pascual Double Sayings stamp set.  I know quite a few people about to have babies soon, so I wanted to create a card that could be for either a boy or a girl, so I used my favourite combination of pink, blue and aqua.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Penguin Goes For A Ride

Hello there my lovelies, hope you're all well.

I'm so sorry I haven't been about this week to see you all, but I have had the flu and haven't felt well enough to do anything.  Anyway, feeling much better now and I will hopefully be about to see you all today.

When it came to posting my Christmas cards last year I noticed that I'd made way too many with heavy embellishments, so couldn't post them.  So this year I'm making sure to make the majority of my cards flat, so they can be posted.  I've used 'Penguin goes for a ride' available from Stamping Bella.  I stamped directly onto some kraft card and coloured with copics.  I wasn't sure how well this card would work with copics, but I was very pleasantly surprised.  No bleeding at all.  I used a white coloursoft pencil to colour in the white bits and then added crystal glitter.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley Handwritten Christmas Sentiments.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Wish Upon A Star

Hello my lovlies, hope you're all keeping well.  I spent the best part of yesterday in bed with aches and pains and the shivers.  Feeling a bit better today, but because I had so much sleep yesterday, it does mean I'm up before the birds today!!

Today I have another Christmas card for my 2013 stash (that makes 2!!)  I treated myself to Wish Upon a Star from Funky Kits.  This is a digital image, although it is also available as a stamp.  She's been coloured with copics and bucket-loads of crystal art glitter.  I must admit that it took me a little while to get back into the swing of colouring and this was actually my second attempt.  The backing papers are from Stamping All Day called Shabby Xmas Blues.  The ribbon is from my stash.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

A Christmas Card

Hello, I hope you're all having a good week.

I know you've probably had enough of Christmas, but I've started on this years cards already.  I've been inspired by Heather Telford of 'Bits & Pieces'.  An extremely talented lady.  You can visit her blog here.

This is my first attempt at making this type of card, but I really enjoyed playing with ink and will definitely be playing a lot more.  My wonderful husband bought me several Penny Black stamps for Christmas after listening to me witter on about how wonderful Heather's work is.

I've used 'Berry Red, Snow White' stamp by Penny Black.  The background was created using Stormy Sky DI and a mask.  I added a little Star Dust Stickles to the snow banks and Martha Stewart Garnet glitter to the berries.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley (one of my Christmas presents from my Secret Santa)  Thank you to my Secret Santa (I know who you are!!)p0----p-----0(Milo typed this last bit!!)

So here it is...

Annabelle's Meadow

Happy New Year everyone.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and received plenty of lovely crafting goodies.

It feels like an eternity since I've been in my craft room.  I've managed to pop by a couple of blogs over the last 2/3 weeks, but that's about it.  Things have been rather hectic over the Christmas period.  But I'm hopefully back now and will endeavour to get around and see everyone as soon as possible.  I feel I've been a very bad blog buddy.

Anyhoo, today's card features 'Annabelle's Meadow' from Wild Rose Studios.  It was one of three gorgeous stamps I received from the wonderful Squirrel when I won her candy just before Christmas.  Thank you soooo much Squirrel, they're all beautiful.

I've coloured her with copics and added a little stickles here and there for some bling.  I'm not sure where the backing paper comes from as it was just lose in my stash, the other paper is Coredinations.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the little butterfly used to be an earring.  My daughter gave me a whole load of old earrings and asked if I could use any of them.  Well, you can guess my answer.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
